Fran O'Brien is a 5th generation Canadian with roots that go back to Ireland. She was born and raised in Timmins, Ontario a northern community famous for gold mining. She was educated in Ontario and Prince Edward Island, and as an adult has lived in various Canadian communities. She has an intimate knowledge of her country, it's history and traditions and an intense pride in the beauty and diversity of Canada.
Mrs. O'Brien has been self employed as an immigration consultant since 1986. She is a partner in the firm of O’Brien, King Consultants Ltd. Immigration Specialists. Prior employment included a number of years with the Employment and Immigration Commission as an immigration officer and employment counsellor. She also worked as a counsellor with the government of Ontario.
Mrs. O’Brien handles all types of immigration cases – skilled worker, entrepreneur, investor, family class, work and study permits, provincial nominee, and humanitarian and compassionate cases. Although she is based in Canada, a great deal of her client base is off-shore with the majority of her clients from India, the Philippines and the Gulf region

John King was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He
attended The University of Toronto, graduating in 1972. Soon after graduation he obtained
employment with the Canada Employment and Immigration Commission. For 17 years, John
worked with the Government of Canada in various capacities, from employment counselor,
supervisor in the employment development branch, assistant manager responsible for foreign
worker approvals, branch manager, and acting area manager, before opting for self
employment as an immigration consultant in 1989. John is a partner in the firm of O’Brien, King Consultants Ltd. Immigration Specialists.
John deals with all categories of immigration and has clients from all over the world,
including India and the Middle East, China, and the Philippines. John travels extensively
on behalf of the firm. He is also the firms bilingual consultant, offering services in
French as well as English.
Known for his hard work and dedication to his clients, John personally handles each of his
cases. He would be pleased to meet with you to discuss your immigration concerns.
Monica O’Brien has been with the firm of O’Brien King for close to 20 years. She has worked in a variety of capacities for the firm and has been a full time consultant since 1996. She handles a variety of cases and specializes in FSW, PNP, family class, TWF and humanitarian applications. Monica is a licensed member in good standing with the new regulatory body -the ICCRC She recently completed her a term as director on National Board of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) and is pleased again to devote some time to the Chapter level, as Vice-President of the Ontario chapter. Monica has a member of CAPIC since inception and had been an active member of the education committee in Ontario. She is a graduate of York University and Seneca College, and for six years was a T.A with the Immigration Program at Seneca College.
